Representing Mark von der Burg and the VDB Team over the last 12 years, Roberta embraces VDB’s unwavering commitment to expertise, excellence, and ethics. Her dedication contributes to the team’s success which she attributes to skill, hard work, and genuine care that makes colleagues and clients feel like family. While providing support, both professionally and personally, she brings a sense of consistency and warmth to the team.

As Managing Broker, Roberta oversees VDB | Compass operations and contracts, handling everything from client development and project management to listing supervision and transactional administration. Her meticulous attention to detail is evident through every stage, from the initial consultation to the final closing. With a background that combines a BSBA in finance, creative writing and interior design talents, and experience operating a staging company, Roberta skillfully integrates the analytical and artistic elements of real estate. Her expertise has proven to be an invaluable asset to VDB | Compass and its clients.

Roberta grew up in Texas and lived in Kansas City before moving to the PNW, where she has called the Eastside home since 2000. Besides exploring the local landscape, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, long distance running, and working on home improvement projects. She is also the caretaker of Harper, a beloved, happy and energetic Golden Retriever who welcomes all to the VDB office.
